You can add items in three ways: 1) Use the AI camera to scan a product — just point your camera at the item and the app will automatically detect the product name and expiration date. 2) Upload a photo from your photo library. 3) Tap "Enter Manually" to type in the details yourself.

The AI scanning feature uses advanced image recognition to detect product names, expiration dates, and production dates from photos. Simply take a clear photo of your product or its label, and the AI will extract the relevant information. AI recognition is available to all users at no extra cost.

ExpireMate sends you reminders before items expire. Free users get a primary reminder (default: 7 days before). Pro users can customize both primary and secondary reminders in Settings > Notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled in your device's Settings > ExpireMate > Notifications.

Yes! ExpireMate automatically syncs your data across all your Apple devices via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices and that iCloud is enabled for ExpireMate in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.

With ExpireMate Pro, you can share your inventory with family members. Go to Settings > Family Sharing to invite family members. Once they accept, all shared items will be visible to everyone in the family group. The Pro subscription owner manages sharing permissions.
