Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ExpireMate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions & Purchases

ExpireMate offers optional in-app purchases including monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

AI Recognition Feature

The App provides an AI-powered product recognition feature that analyses photos you take or upload. This feature is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results. You should always verify product information, especially expiration dates, before relying on it. Photos sent for AI analysis are processed in real-time and are not stored after processing.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App, including product names, dates, tags, and photos. Your data is stored locally on your device and may be synced via Apple's iCloud service. We do not access, sell, or share your personal data.

Restrictions

You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute the App; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (c) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (d) attempt to bypass any security features or usage limits of the App; (e) use the App to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ExpireMate or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
